The Sheri and David Gross Family Playmakers Performing Arts Fund

The Mandel Jewish Community Center in conjunction with members of the Cleveland Jewish and performing arts communities are creating a fund to honor the tenure of Sheri Gross, retiring director of the Mandel JCC Playmakers Youth Theatre for the past twenty years.

With a unique style and poise, Sheri Gross has brought her creativity, skills and passion to the Mandel Jewish Community Center Playmakers Program and to our community's youth. With unwavering dedication and remarkable consistency, thousands of children have been introduced to the performing arts gaining confidence in themselves, an appreciation for the transformative power of theater, and a new appreciation and understanding of their Judaism. It's been Sheri's humanity, humor and insight that has allowed Playmakers to flourish during this unprecedented run of over 85 performances and 20 camp seasons.

Most importantly, not only have Sheri's efforts ensured season after season of quality programs, but her vision has laid the foundation for the ongoing success of the program.

Like the program she created and nurtured, the Sheri and David Gross Family Playmakers Fund, is accepting charitable gifts of all sizes. Your gifts will build a fund that will support and sustain Playmakers and ensure a margin of excellence so characteristic and so deserving of this community treasure. In order to establish the endowment, we must raise a minimum of $10,000.00.

It's not often we have such a perfect way to express our thanks to someone who has not only done all we ask, but all we could ever hope for.

Thank you for your consideration of this tribute gift.
