BULLYISM AND JUDAISM
A Discussion for 7th-12th graders
12:00 in the Miller Chapel
With the help of Hollywood icons like Lady Gaga and others, the term "bully" is in every teen’s vocabulary. Bullying is certainly not a new phenomenon but in the age of Facebook, YouTube, and other social media, bullying has taken on new dimensions. In this teen chat we will confront bullyism head on and discuss the values within Jewish tradition that help us understand and even address the behaviors and attitudes that lead to bullying. All teens are invited for this discussion as we confront the question, "what does it mean to be a Jewish teen in the 21st century?".
