Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
When and where is the gala?
June 12, 2025, at Beth El from 7:00pm - 11:00 pm
What will I do at the gala?
Kick off the night by spending time with Rabbi Schuck, our clergy and community — friends old and new — enjoying hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, craft beers, mocktails, a buffet dinner, and bidding on unique experiences and prizes.
We’ll then gather for a short program celebrating ten transformative years together with Rabbi Schuck — in gratitude for the music, learning, prayer, contemplation and community — that have flourished under his inspiring leadership.
We will honor the joy, spirit, and connection Rabbi Schuck has nurtured at Beth El — and we will dance!
Why does Beth El throw a gala?
For Three Principal Reasons:
-
To Build Community — It’s a night to come together, celebrate, and have fun.
-
To Support Beth El — The funds we raise demonstrate our commitment to the future and help Beth El continue to grow and thrive.
-
To Express Gratitude — This year we are especially excited to celebrate the many contributions Rabbi Schuck has made to the vibrancy and strength of the Beth El Community.
Think celebration, festive and fun, whether that means your favorite cocktail attire — a stylish dress, a dapper jacket, a suit — or whatever makes you feel good and ready to celebrate.
Where do I park?
Parking is available in Beth El's front and back lots, in the Ursuline School parking lot, and in the surrounding public streets. Please do not park in the CVS lot as your car would be subject to towing.
We encourage arrival at 7:00pm. Please factor in time for parking.
Unfortunately, I have a conflict; is there anything I can do to show my support for Beth El and gratitude to Rabbi Schuck?
Yes, thank you! You can take out an ad in our online journal and bid on some of the terrific items in (or donate items to our online auction. You can do all of those things by visiting the Gala page on Beth El’s website.
