Fran Broder has volunteered for Bikur Cholim of Greater Washington (BCGW) for many years and is deeply committed to its mission.  She currently oversees the pantry at Holy Cross Hospital, managing inventory, shopping for supplies, and coordinating the pantry’s volunteers. She also enjoys working in the new BCGW Community Kitchen, where she helps prepare and package meals for individuals and families in need.

Fran collects the BCGW tzedaka boxes from local stores and restaurants, counting and tracking the donations. In addition to her work with BCGW, Fran is a volunteer with the Mikvah Emunah Society and the Chevra Kadisha.

Outside of her volunteer work, Fran enjoys traveling with her husband, Alan, spending time with family and friends, enjoying the outdoors, and attending or streaming shiurim.
