Carol McCauley
Temple Beth El of Patchogue
Carol McCauley and George, her husband of 51 years, joined Temple Beth El of Patchogue in 1999 where their sons, Ian and Nick, attended the Hebrew School. In 2003 she became a valuable member of the Sisterhood Executive Board. Carol is always ready to help whenever and wherever she can.
We call Carol the “Card Lady” because she’s in charge of all our card fundraisers. Every year she takes care of our Mah Jongg Card and New Year’s Card fundraisers. She is also our Torah Fund Chairperson. She also serves on the Temple Board and the Membership Committee.
One of Carol’s greatest assets is her ability to reach out. Carol is always willing to make phone calls to ensure that our events are well attended and that our fundraisers get the maximum donations. Her continuous dedication to our community has always been an inspiration. She is a great storyteller, a generous spirit, and a devoted friend. For all of her years of service and dedication, Sisterhood is proud and honored to name her our Woman of Achievement.
