Felice Schulman-Marcus has been an active member of the East Meadow Jewish Center, now called East Meadow Beth-El Jewish Center, since moving to the area with her husband, Randy, 36 years ago. Felice and Randy have three children: Joshua married to Sandra, Seth married to Alexandra, and Aaron married to Frannie. They are additionally blessed with five grandchildren: Odelia, Liora, Benjamin, Natalie, and Matthew.
 
Felice regularly attends Shabbat services and over time has held positions on several synagogue committees, eventually becoming active in Sisterhood. Together with Randy, she created the Yad B’Yad program which provides rides for congregants to medical appointments. They also organized the Community Action Project in 2015 which, with the generous support of congregants, has collected and donated more than 10,000 food items, used eyeglasses, clothing, and necessities to programs in the community that help those in need.  
 
Felice is an active member of the Sisterhood Board and currently serves on the Programming Committee. She is always willing to assist in any way she can. For example, she once baked over 200 cupcakes for a Sisterhood cupcake decorating program! Recently she coordinated and ran a program offering a virtual trip to Israel and will be doing Mindfulness Training for a Sisterhood program dealing with wellness and stress reduction.  
 
Felice has a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology and is a licensed social worker. She provides psychotherapy to adults, children and families and has done child custody evaluations and supervised visitation for the courts in Nassau and Queens Counties for many years.  
 
Sisterhood is very pleased to name Felice our 2022 Woman of Achievement.
