Tracey B. Simon
Congregation
B'nai Sholom-Beth David
Sisterhood of Congregation B’nai Sholom-Beth David is pleased to name Tracey B. Simon as our 2021-2022 Woman of Achievement Gala Honoree.

Tracey was selected as our honoree because she is a dedicated and valued member of our board. Tracey is always there when we need her, whether it be for spearheading a project, brainstorming a solution, or solving a technical problem.

Tracey is a talented writer, with a background in public relations and advertising, who utilizes her skills to publicize events and compose articles for our temple newsletter and community newspaper. She recently provided descriptions of two of our programs for the Women’s League’s Reference Book of Programs.

Tracey’s talents are not limited to writing. She was also the emcee at our comedy night where she secured the comedians, arranged a myriad of details, and kept us laughing during our first in-person event in a very long time!

Tracey joined Congregation B’nai Sholom-Beth David in 2007 with her husband, Ellis. She and Ellis have lived in Oceanside for more than 40 years. They have a daughter, Emma, who lives in Texas and will be getting married in September to Jon Blum. Tracey worked as a librarian in Nassau County for 27 years and retired in February 2020.

We are fortunate to have Tracey on our Sisterhood board and are delighted to honor her as a Woman of Achievement.
