Louva Rose Roberts is honored to be recognized as a BQLI Region L’Dor V’Dor honoree. She grew up attending North Shore Jewish Center Religious School in Port Jefferson Station, where she developed a deep appreciation for Jewish values, community, and a commitment to “giving back.” Louva is passionate about the importance of leadership and service and has dedicated her time to initiatives that uplift and support those around her. She and her twin sister, Julia, regularly assist with events for all the synagogue groups, including those for children, teens, Sisterhood, and Men’s Club. 

 

With a bachelor’s degree in communications from SUNY Purchase, she is pursuing her broader professional aspirations while working currently as a sushi chef at Wegmans Food Markets, a role she approaches with creativity and dedication. Louva is also an avid reader and outdoor enthusiast, with special interest in skateboarding, art, philosophy, and all types of athletics, such as snowboarding, tennis, and even paintball, to name just a few of her many passions! 

 

She is incredibly grateful for the support of her Sisterhood and looks forward to celebrating this meaningful occasion with family, friends, and fellow honorees, which include her twin sister, Julia.
