Sidnee Beller is a tenth-grade honors student at John F. Kennedy High School in Bellmore, New York. She is a dedicated and motivated student who approaches both her academic studies and extracurricular commitments with responsibility and enthusiasm. Sidnee takes pride in challenging herself in the classroom while also making meaningful contributions outside of school.
A committed member of the Merrick Jewish Centre, Sidnee is deeply connected to her Jewish community. She volunteers on Saturdays at her temple’s children’s services, helping to create an engaging and welcoming environment for younger members. She also works at the Merrick Jewish Centre Hebrew School, where she enjoys supporting and mentoring students as they develop their Jewish knowledge and identity.
Sidnee is highly active in BBYO (B’nai B’rith Youth Organization), where she demonstrates leadership, dedication, and a strong commitment to Jewish values. In addition to her synagogue and youth group involvement, she volunteers on weekends with SCOPE, further showing her passion for giving back and supporting others. Through her service, leadership, and dedication to strengthening her community, Sidnee truly embodies the spirit of l’dor v’dor, the passing of traditions, values, and responsibility from one generation to the next.
