Tracy Slavsky is deeply humbled and honored to be recognized as Midway Jewish Center’s 2026 Woman of Achievement. Born and raised in Locust Valley, Long Island, Tracy converted to Judaism as a young adult and embraced it wholeheartedly. Inspired by her parents, who were dedicated community volunteers, Tracy grew up understanding the value of service, compassion, and giving of her time and effort to help others. It was only natural that she would follow in her parents’ footsteps by dedicating herself to strengthening and uplifting her community.
Tracy and her husband, Eric, are the proud parents of two wonderful grown daughters, Rebecca and Hannah, who continue to be sources of immense pride and joy. Over the years, Tracy has been involved in countless committees, search efforts, and leadership roles at Midway Jewish Center. Her most recent role as president has been both her most challenging and most rewarding. Serving as president allowed her to guide and represent her beloved Midway Jewish Center family — an experience she considers one of her greatest accomplishments. Through her dedication, heart, and unwavering commitment, Tracy exemplifies the spirit of leadership and community that this honor celebrates.
