Wendy Hoffman is honored to have been chosen as a BQLI Woman of Achievement. Wendy is a devoted wife to Steve and a proud mother to Sheryl, Randy, and Sam. She is also a joyful grandmother to Carly and Anna. Jewish identity and education have always been central in her home, and she takes great pride in raising her children with a strong foundation in Jewish life.
 
Wendy grew up in Roslyn at Temple Beth Sholom, and later raised her family in the same community and synagogue.  Deeply rooted in Jewish life, she has remained actively involved in Jewish education and Sisterhood programming, currently as a Sisterhood Program Co-VP, as well as in community engagement.  
 
After graduating from the University of Rhode Island, Wendy completed her Internship at The New York Hospital—Cornell Medical Center, where she continued to work while completing her master’s degree in clinical nutrition. She went on to serve as Chief Dietitian at Parker-Jewish Geriatric Institute before joining North Shore Diabetes and Endocrine Associates as a Certified Diabetes Educator- Licensed Nutritionist. There she directed its education program for more than 30 years. 
 
More recently, Wendy has expanded her professional pursuits in real estate and is a licensed agent with Douglas Elliman.
