A beloved member of the Camelot family for 32 years, John E. Coleman Jr. dedicated his life to helping others find hope and healing. As a longtime Director at Camelot Counseling Center, his compassion, humor, and steady guidance touched countless lives. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, John's kindness and selflessness will forever be remembered by all who knew him.
His legacy of service and love lives on through the many lives he helped restore.

Dear Friends and Supporters,
The occasion of our annual Recognition Night Dinner is always a special time for us at Camelot. This year because it marks our 54th Anniversary offering services to the people of Staten Island and New York City.
The North Shore Kiwanis Club (now the North Central Kiwanis Club) founded Camelot in 1971, in this building, to address the heroin problem of that time and continues their support to this day.
Tonight, we salute Camelot's former clients and Staten Island's New York State Senator Jessica Scarcella-Spanton and New York City Council Member Kamillah M. Hanks. As our elected representatives their combined efforts help to reinforce the work that Camelot does every day with families, women and men, adults, and teenagers, who bravely confront the ravages of substance misuse and are on the road to recovery.
I am pleased to report that Camelot is in the process of opening 3 new Residential Treatment projects. New construction at our 263-269 Port Richmond Avenue site that will house 35 Reintegration Men's beds and an Outpatient Clinic. Next will be Staten Island's first 25 bed Women's Treatment Residence with a capacity for 22 Children located on the Sea View Hospital Campus. With the acquisition of the Amethyst House program comes the control and management of a new Women's 30 bed Reintegration Residence.
We sincerely appreciate the ongoing support of all of you who are friends of the Camelot family, as we seek to repair and restore families from the destruction brought by drug and alcohol misuse.
