From the day we met, I have watched with admiration as you conveyed your deep love of Israel
by your eloquent words and your generous support of our ancient homeland,
miraculously reborn.
As members of the second generation, you have generously shown your suppor
of the Jossi Berger Holocaust Study Center a project of EMUNAH and illustrated
the responsibility to remember and pass the torch to the next generation, all more urgent
as the survivors pass into the pages of history. You have put your words into action
by your dedication of the Art & Drama Center for the Marilyn Cole
and Francie Zusman-Sina Torah and Arts High School and for the newest dedication
of the capital campaign for the Sderot Crisis Center.
As president of the ZOA Brooklyn Region, you have organized and undertaken
your annual Mishloach Manot expedition to many Israeli Army Bases to honor, bolster
and reward the every day heroics of the Israeli soldiers. This mission has been your passion
for many years and has grown and widened with each year.
From the day you organized the first Israel Independence Parade in Boston
until the present day, you have lived and breathed your love of Zion and your people ,
both in words and action.
May you continue to share and spread the strength of your convictions for years to come.
