Dr. Eddie Silverman
Congregation Olam Tikvah
Dr. Eddie Silverman grew up in Miami, Florida where he was a member of Temple Samu-El Or Olam and was involved in USY. Growing up, Eddie was active in scouting, earning Eagle Scout Rank in 1995. After graduating from Miami Palmetto Senior High, he attended the University of Miami where he met his wife Sara. He earned his Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Florida International University, and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University.
 
Eddie moved to Northern Virginia in 2005, and practices physical therapy at Inova Fair Oaks hospital. He and Sara are the proud parents of two children, Jeremiah and Miriam. Jeremiah is a freshman at Westfield High School, and Miriam is in sixth grade at Virginia Run Elementary. Both Jeremiah and Miriam are active in Scouting America Troop 1995, where Eddie is Scout Master. His family is active at Congregation Olam Tikvah. Eddie has served as coordinator of ABBA for Olam Tikvah Men’s Club and is currently a Vice President of the club. He has organized the annual Men’s Club Steak Night, Poker Night, and Spirits and Study programs for the club for several years and is honored to be accepting the Blue Yarmulke Award this year.
