Ezra and Rachel recognize the role that the Fuchs Mizrachi School plays within the Jewish community and are able to recognize the need for and then see through to fruition countless efforts to better our community for children and adults alike.

 

As an alum of the Fuchs Mizrachi School himself, Ezra’s connection to the school and community is a result of having been educated and raised by the community in which he lives.  Ezra has served on the Board of Trustees and is now currently on the Executive Committee serving as the chair of the Physical Plant and Environment Committee as well as serving as the longstanding chair of the Mizrachi Golf Outing.  Rachel can be found rolling up her sleeves for many school initiatives - always with a “get the job done right” attitude.  From formally chairing events, most recently our Mizrachi 36th year Anniversary, to stocking the fridge for our shlichim, to coordinating Parent Child Learning, Rachel is always willing to lend a hand.  There is no job that is too big or small for Rachel to carefully see through, frequently behind the scenes.  In addition to her school involvement, Rachel has served on the Board of Camp Stone and Bikur Cholim and is currently a Wexner Heritage Fellow.  

Ezra and Rachel have been visionaries in their support of the reinstatement of the Mizrachi Family Shabbaton as a means to connect and create meaningful experiences for children and adults of our school community. As well, Ezra and Rachel have founded the Community Beit Midrash at the Fuchs Mizrachi School which has created a home of Torah learning for adults in our community.  They are always willing to help the school in any way possible from hosting events at their home for the school community to volunteering for whatever is needed at school.  Ezra and Rachel are the proud parents of Yardena (7), Daniella (6), Nathan (3), Liav (2), and Ami (K).
