GRTWA IS CELEBRATING ITS 55TH ANNIVERSARY, HONORING OUR ALUMNI AND OUR SCHOOL AND HIGHLIGHTING BILL RUBENSTEIN, ANDREW RUBENSTEIN, AND THE RUBENSTEIN FAMILY AT THE GALA 2022
This spring, Gottesman RTW Academy will celebrate 55 years of education at a Gala on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at 6pm at Gottesman RTW Academy. We are delighted to honor our more than 550 alumni and some of their accomplishments and to give a special honor to Bill Rubenstein, Andrew Rubenstein, and the Rubenstein family as we formally announce the naming of the campus in honor of their family. The Rubenstein family has given a substantial gift to the school in honor of Bill’s father and Andrew’s grandfather, Michael Rubenstein z”l, one of the original founders of the school. We are honoring these extraordinary individuals for their leadership support and dedication to Gottesman RTW Academy and the greater Jewish community.
Bill Rubenstein is a native of Morristown and a graduate of Morristown High School and Fairleigh Dickinson University. He has had an extremely successful career in commercial real estate spanning the past fifty years. During his life, Bill has been a devoted philanthropist and mentor, supporting many charities.
Andrew Rubenstein is a native of Harding Township now residing in Florida and is a graduate of Madison High School and the University of West Florida. Andrew has had a successful career in property management, joining his father, Steven Rubenstein z”l, and his uncle, Bill Rubenstein, at Rubenstein Properties. In addition, Andrew manages the Steven z”l and Beverly Rubenstein Charitable Foundation.
Bill and Andrew, along with the Rubenstein Foundation, supported the construction of our new building in 2015 and are now joined together in the naming of the Rubenstein Family Campus at GRTWA. It is with great honor and respect that Bill and Andrew are continuing Michael Rubenstein’s z”l vision for a thriving day school that he founded with Morty and Beatsy z”l Wertheimer and Alvin z”l and Charlotte Turner and that has continued with the Gottesman family, resulting in today’s GRTWA.
