Head of School's message to Dr. Larry and Debra Halperin

Your dedication and commitment to the Jewish people and specifically the Boca Raton Jewish community knows no bounds. You have devoted so much of your time to ensuring that Klal Yisrael continues to flourish in South Florida. Your intimate involvement with Hadar High School over the course of the last several years has ensured that our school continues to provide a stellar product. Your ambassadorship and advocacy on behalf of Hadar has been nothing short of inspiring.

It has been our zechus, with Hashem's help, to work alongside you in building Hadar High School into a powerhouse Torah institution. We have always valued and relied on your wisdom, insight and advice as the school has continued to grow. Your voice is one of balance and logic, coupled with care and love, and has ensured that the vision of Hadar would be brought to fruition without compromise or concession.
Hadar High School for Girls
Let's not forget all the special treats that you would bring the girls on different occasions just to show them how much you loved them!

As we reflect on the growth of Hadar since its inception, we can easily recognize with much hakaras hatov, that Hadar is only where it is because of the many contributions that you have made with your time and energy.

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all that you have done for Hadar and many of the institutions in our community.

Hashem should bless you and your family with continued mazel, bracha, nachas and simcha, in good health, with much hatzlacha, B'Ezras Hashem!

With deep appreciation and gratitude,

Rabbi Moshe & Mrs. Michal Schochet

Hadar High School for Girls
Head of School's Message to Mrs. Ilana Bendel
It seems like just yesterday you were our student in high school. Your energetic and outgoing personality exuded positivity and fun. More than 20 years later, nothing has changed. Your excitement, enthusiasm and happy go lucky attitude has attracted virtually every student in our school to draw close to you. You are so genuine, caring, warm and approachable.  Every girl feels so comfortable stopping you in the hallway, walking into your office, or even reaching out to you outside of school to elicit your advice or benefit from your profound insights. As a teacher, your classes have inspired your students to develop a deep and meaningful relationship with Hashem. It is evident that you love each of your students.

Your greatest attribute, however, has been the emunah and bitachon you model for every student and faculty member alike. Many people talk about their relationship with Hashem. You live it and serve as an incredible example and inspiration for each of our students and educators.
Hadar High School for Girls
We feel so privileged that you play so many critical and influential roles in our school and look forward to many more years of working together, as we continue to build with Hashem's help, the greatest high school in the world.

Having witnessed your growth over the last several years from student to an esteemed mechaneches , we have received a great deal of nachas and pride in the person that you have become. We are so inspired and have gained so much from our long standing relationship.

Hashem should bless you and your family with continued mazel, bracha, nachas and simcha in good health with much hatzlacha B'ezras Hashem!

With much gratitude and admiration,
Rabbi Moshe & Mrs. Michal Schochet

Hadar High School for Girls
About Hadar
Hadar High School for Girls opened its doors in August of 2016. Our mission is to inspire and educate each student at her level. We strive to develop Bnos Torah with a love of Israel and a commitment to the greater Jewish people. Hadar is a place where students learn Torah and learn how to live a life of Torah.

The Hadar faculty and administration are dedicated to excellence in Limudei Kodesh and General Studies. Our academic program both challenges and supports each one of our students at her own level. Our classes ensure that each student is positioned to maximize her individual potential.

Hadar features a variety of extra-curricular programs and clubs that help students explore and utilize their talents. Inspiring speakers, shabbatonim, Rosh Chodesh programs, school trips, chessed, Israel advocacy, and student leadership all offer meaningful and enjoyable outlets for our students to grow throughout their high school experience.
With your support, we can continue to provide a place of growth and development for the young women of South Florida for many years to come.

With Larry by her side, Debra has immersed herself in countless philanthropic and volunteer opportunities that help preserve, protect and foster these values throughout the Boca Raton Jewish community and beyond.

Jewish Federation has been the focus of Debra's philanthropic efforts for over three decades. Debra has served in nearly every position within the Federation, including the Federation's Campaign Chair, President of Women's Philanthropy, Jewish Education task force and its program funding council. Debra has chaired nearly every event the organization hosts, including the Lion of Judah luncheon, and has endowed her gift to Federation. Debra and Larry also helped develop and launch "The Event," an annual gathering that brings together day schools, yeshivas, shuls, Chabad houses, JFS, JARC, and many more institutions, to celebrate and support our diverse and vibrant Jewish community.

Debra's leadership knows no bounds and extends across so many areas of Jewish life. From Boca Raton Synagogue, to FAU Hillel, to The Great Big Challah Bake and so much more, Debra does it all. And while each of these efforts have a unique purpose and significance, Debra's proudest memories, and one of her most meaningful experiences will always be serving on the board of Hadar High School.

Debra and Larry are the embodiment of chesed, leadership, ahavas yisrael and ahavas eretz yisrael, a reflection of the values that define Hadar High School.

Debra and Larry's greatest pride and joy is their family. Larry's mother, Natalie, will Be'ezras Hashem attend this year's gala dinner, and will be representing all of Debra and Larry's parents z'l, who taught them that a life dedicated to family, Israel, and the Jewish community is a life well spent. They are most proud of the dedication, compassion, and commitment of their children Douglas, Chavi, Katie, Jeremy, Scott and Ilana, who all demonstrate their own intense devotion to Yiddishkeit and a Torah life. It is truly fitting that you, Mrs. Bendel, are being honored at this year's dinner. As we reflect on the past five years since we sat in your classroom, we are reminded of the profound impact you've had on our lives. Your lessons, values, and the memories we have continue to inspire us to this day.
Your infectious Simchas HaChayim taught us to find joy in everyday moments and to face life's challenges with optimism and resilience. Your genuine, down-to-earth nature created a safe and nurturing environment where each of us felt seen, heard, and valued.
What struck us most about you, Mrs. Bendel, was your remarkable ability to connect with each of us individually. You took the time to understand our unique struggles and strengths, offering guidance and support whenever we needed it. Your door was always open, welcoming us in with a warm smile and a listening ear.
As we navigate the ups and downs of life, we continue to draw upon the wisdom and values you taught us. You're more than just a teacher - you're a mentor, a role model, and a shining example of what it means to live a life of purpose, kindness, and joy.

Thank you, Mrs. Bendel, for being an extraordinary teacher and an extraordinary person. We're honored to have had the privilege of being your students, and we'll always be grateful for the impact you've had on our lives.

Honoring Ilana:
It is with immense pride and love that we honor Ilana, a remarkable woman who is the heart and soul of her family and a true light in her community. Raising her children with strength, grace, and unwavering dedication, she embodies what it means to be selfless and resilient. Her values, kindness, and determination are an inspiration to all who know her, and her devotion to her family and community is unparalleled.  I am so proud to support this dinner because it celebrates someone truly deserving. Ilana is not just my daughter, but a shining example of love, commitment, and faith. I am so proud of all she has accomplished and even prouder to be her mother

With endless love and admiration,

Mommy and your father Eli in heaven,
who would have been the most proud of you and your accomplishments
