Born and raised in Forest Hills, New York, and educated at Bar-Ilan University in Israel, Morah Kathy Eson has dedicated many years to the field of Jewish education, becoming a guiding light for countless students, their families, and the community. Hired by Rabbi Alexander S. Gross Z”L, the founder of Hebrew Academy, whose visionary leadership transformed Jewish education, Morah Kathy began her career in South Florida. Throughout her tenure teaching Judaic studies to Early Childhood students, Morah Kathy's unwavering commitment has touched many lives. She uplifts everyone with her positive energy, and her students have gone on to achieve great success as rabbis, leading physicians, scientists, lawyers, artists, educators, engineers, and entrepreneurs. They carry her lessons deeply in their hearts, applying her teachings to impact their communities and beyond.
 
Morah Kathy's influence extends beyond the classroom. She creates a warm, nurturing and safe environment where students feel valued and understood, leading to a deep bond with her students, who look up to her with trust and admiration.
 
Spearheading programs such as Grandparents & Special Friends Day, Morah Kathy brings together generations with Nachat (pride), fostering family engagement. Her weekly Shabbat celebrations, filled with songs and lively interpretations of the Parasha, leave a lasting impression on all in attendance. Her dedication has spanned generations, with some of her former students now bringing their own children to be taught by Morah Kathy.
 
Morah Kathy introduces Jewish traditions, values, and lessons, shaping the spiritual and intellectual foundation of her students. These early experiences provide a sense of identity and belonging, instilling lifelong values.
 
Morah Kathy is immensely proud of her students. Seeing them succeed and carry her teachings forward fills her with joy and satisfaction. As a proud mother, grandmother, and wife to Alan, she considers all her students as her own children. Her dedication to education and her belief in the power of Emuna (faith in Hashem) are reflected in her words: "As long as you have Emuna, Hashem is by your side, and there is nothing you can't do."
