Davood Rozehzadeh was a man filled with love and devotion.  He found great pleasure in creating happiness in the lives of others. Davood was born in Iran. In Iran he was a successful businessman, who dedicated his life to Torah, Mitzvot, and chessed. He made sure to take care of his community, as he strived to fulfill the needs of all types of Jews.
His Emunah in Hashem was especially incredible. He would always portray his Emunah with a specific story that he often shared with his children. He would point to an ant crawling between the cervices of two large stones and say: “Just as Hashem provides food for this ant to survive; Hashem will always provide us with all our needs.”  The message he leaves us with is, as we all make our way through the deep crevices of our own hardships, we must daven to Hashem to provide. It was especially important for us to dedicate the Bais Medrash in his honor, because we know how much it would have meant to him. This is because tefillah was the focal point of his days on this earth. Davood was always the first one to enter shul and the lst person to exit. A testament to this was: one time when his sons walked into their father’s room while he was sleeping, they were amazed to find their father reciting various tefillot in his sleep. As tefillah meant everything to Davood, we are blessed to be able to honor him in this perfect way.
