Message from Rabbi Elie Weinstock
Welcome to the JCAB Summer Breeze 2022!

Our beloved Shul continues to thrive! We have had a stellar year of services, classes, Shabbat dinners, holiday celebrations, and youth programs. This past High Holiday season saw over 800 worshippers davening with us, and the joy continued with 100+ children Sukkah-hopping around the neighborhood, an unforgettable Simchat Torah in the Montgomery Yard, and public Chanukah lightings in front of the Shul and with the Village. JCAB is an open, meaningful, inspiring “happy place” for so many.

Mazal to our Summer Breeze honorees! Zena Cohen is this year’s Eishet Chayil awardee. In addition to filling that role for her family, she serves as a model of graciousness, chesed, and hospitality for our Shul. Sue Talansky is receiving the Murray Wallen Distinguished Service Award for editing and publishing "Ordinary Objects: Enduring Legacies, The Atlantic Beach Collection." This beautiful volume allows families to tell and remember their stories. Knowing our past enriched our present and helps ensure our future. This event also pays tribute to the memory of Mr. Murray Voroba, z”l, and his years of dedicated and impactful service in our community.

JCAB is the only house of worship in Atlantic Beach. That makes us the soul of the village. This dinner celebrates that soul and, hopefully, inspires each of us to redouble our efforts to support the shul, engage each other, and strengthen the bonds of community we share together.

Please join us to celebrate our honorees, support JCAB, and have a wonderful time together. Enjoy!
