Gaby & Saul Safdieh
Young Leadership award
Gaby and Saul Safdieh have been members of JCAB for over a decade. They met and became close friends attending the University of Pennsylvania. That friendship turned into a marriage that has been going strong for 18 years, and they have three children: Natalie (15), Abie (12), and Bella (10).
Saul, a Wharton School graduate, has 20+ years of experience investing in private and public real estate opportunities. Gaby, an integrative and longevity medicine physician who received her MD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and trained at NYU and the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, launched her own private practice three years ago offering patients a personalized approach to optimizing long-term health that combines medical insights with nutrition, supplements, and lifestyle changes.
After spending six summers at the beach, Saul and Gaby made AB their year-round home in 2020. They were immediately drawn to the Shul, where they have formed some of their closest friendships. JCAB represents the perfect balance of vibrant summers, peaceful winters, and the growing strength of the year-round community.
Gaby and Saul and their family are a model for the growing demographic of young families at JCAB. They give back to the community in many ways - whether it’s by being present in shul, socializing with warmth and openness, welcoming new families, participating in various shul projects or leading by example. Saul serves on the JCAB Kiddush Committee, the Young Families Steering Committee, and the Trustee Council. Together, Gaby and Saul help foster the close-knit, supportive spirit that defines the JCAB community.
Gaby, Saul, Natalie, Abie, and Bella feel deep gratitude for the beauty and warmth of the JCAB community and are looking forward to many great years to come.
