Amy & Rabbi Noam Stein
Guests of Honor
Amy and Rabbi Noam Stein moved to Lower Merion in 2021, with Rabbi Stein assuming the role of principal of Kohelet Yeshiva High School and Amy becoming a member of Kohelet Yeshiva Middle School’s Limudei Kodesh faculty.
Rabbi Stein grew up in Boston, Massachusetts, where he attended Maimonides School. Following high school, he studied for two years at Yeshivat Kerem B’Yavneh and then at Yeshiva University, where he earned his B.A. in English Literature and his rabbinic ordination at the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary. He has taught and worked as a school administrator at Ramaz, Salanter Akiba Riverdale Academy (SAR), and Ma’ayanot Yeshiva High School for Girls. From 2014 to 2021, he served as the high school principal at Farber Hebrew Day School. Just as he has done at Kohelet over the past several years, Rabbi Stein worked closely with teachers, administrators, students and parents at Farber to create a warm, Torah-oriented environment with a rigorous and innovative academic program.
At Kohelet, Amy currently serves as Middle School Limudei Kodesh Specialist, Middle School Limudei Kodesh and Advisory Curriculum Coordinator and Mechanechet.
