Mrs. Chanie Spalter was born and raised in Montreal, Canada, where she attended a Chabad school and developed a love for Jewish education that would later guide her professional life. After earning her Bachelor's degree in Education, she began her career as a preschool teacher and administrator in Hollywood, FL, where she devoted ten years to early childhood education, supporting young families and helping children begin their journey in a nurturing and joyful environment.

From the very inception of Ohr HaTorah, Mrs. Spalter has been at the heart of the school’s growth and success. As School Administrator, she plays a vital role in overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring that every detail — from the front office to long-term planning — supports the continued success and stability of the school. Her vision, dedication, and commitment to excellence have contributed significantly to the remarkable transformation and expansion of Ohr HaTorah over the years.
What drives Mrs. Spalter most is the privilege of watching the school thrive — seeing new families join, students flourish, and the Ohr HaTorah community continue to grow stronger each year. Her pride stems not only from the school’s progress, but from the relationships, trust, and shared purpose built along the way.

Mrs. Spalter currently resides in Hollywood, Florida with her husband, Eli, who has been an integral partner in the early formation and ongoing growth of the school, and together they are blessed with five children, thank G-d. She remains deeply committed to her family, her community, and to ensuring that Ohr HaTorah continues to be a place where every child can shine.
