Mrs. Wilk is truly an institution at Queens Hebrew Academy. Since joining our school family in February of 2001, she has touched the lives of countless students through her unwavering dedication, passion for learning, and genuine care for every child she teaches. Over the years, she has served our community as a Lower School General Studies teacher, Middle School Math teacher, and Jewish History teacher, leaving a lasting imprint at every level.

 

Beyond her work in the classroom, Mrs. Wilk leads with heart and integrity in her roles as Middle School Dean and Co-President of the Teachers Council. She is a mentor to colleagues, a trusted guide to students, and a steady presence for families. Her commitment extends far beyond academics—she inspires confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning in all those around her.

 

We are deeply grateful for Mrs. Wilk’s many years of devotion and are honored to celebrate her this evening as the recipient of the Educator of the Year Award.
