SIGAL & DONNY - We made a giant list of all the great stories that we have to tell. Then we crossed off all the ones that probably should not be told in public. Then we took another look at the giant list. It was now completely blank. Our history goes all the way back to Raleigh, secret BBQ's, falling asleep at 3am on the top of a 12' ladder (that was paged to the big gym by Cheryl Meskin), to going to Morasha shiriya to see who was better, hiding the key to Friendly's under home plate, "I can do that", creating our own signs for visiting day, Flatbush, Ramaz, Hillel, The Rules, JETA, Le Marais, Snow Days, the Hoopa, Jimmy and the white pickup truck, LDJ, and then we needed to bring in Fran and explain all this to her. The ice bucket at the Great Neck Inn, Jason being a little backed up, folding him into the couch, The Kingsford Kosher BBQ Bucket, the chalet and the snowmobile incident, "Can You Say Road Trip?" The Emmy's, No Shoes, No Socks, No Service, Martin Guerre, The Tonys, calling the Parkway, guest directing, Where the heck is Dave?, The GIANT Epstein, Ostrove signs, "I like Prague"... and then we needed to go back and explain it all again to Sigal. Brisket in South Carolina, Donny's 4-hour intro's of everyone, 4 kids, another 12 Broadway shows... just to name barely a few of the thousands of memories that make a lifetime of extraordinary friendships. Come to think of it, there really is not a whole lot we HAVE'NT done. Sigal and Donny, you are both such special people and such a special couple; always doing for others before yourselves. Your commitment to your community and to Am Yisrael is truly inspiring. Mazal Tov on this very well-deserved honor. We are very proud of you.
