Sandy and Alex Solomon have truly redefined leadership since joining the Moriah family in 2006.  Sandy, originally from Westchester, NY, and Alex, originally from Brooklyn, NY, have made Englewood their home since 2004. Alex is the co-founder and co-president of Net at Work, a full-service technology and business consultancy firm, and co-founded several other technology companies including Cloud at Work, Docutrend, Pixafy and Swype Integrated Technology. Sandy is the founder of Liv and Precious Jewelry, a boutique jewelry store.  

During their 15 years at Moriah, Sandy and Alex have held numerous leadership roles at Moriah.  Sandy has Co-Chaired the Annual Moriah Purim Carnival since 2013 and has served as a Names, Not Numbers mentor, Golf committee member and is on the Moriah Sports committee, among other Moriah-related volunteer efforts. 

Alex has served as Executive Committee member, Technology Committee member, Annual Campaign Chair, member of the Golf committee and a member of the Board of Trustees since 2015.  The passion, commitment, and effectiveness that Sandy and Alex bring to each of these roles is unrivaled and widely recognized, as evidenced by the extraordinary success that Alex has consistently achieved year-after-year as Chairman of our Annual Campaign.  

Beyond Moriah, the Solomons are involved in many other Jewish organizations, both within and outside Bergen County, including Ahavath Torah, where Alex is a former trustee and Co-Head of CSS.  Sandy has also served as Co-President of the Englewood Emunah Chapter . 

Sandy and Alex are the proud parents of Evan (16), Kira (‘18), Darren (‘21) and Olivia (‘22).
