our level of spirituality because of the insights you have shared with us,

whether from the pulpit, in a class, at a meal, or just in

everyday conversation.

And we have been blessed to watch your family grow and expand

and share in your important life moments as well.

I remember as though it was yesterday the first time

we Israeli danced together and discovered we were both Cejwinites.

It's so hard to believe that was 30 years ago. Those evenings of dancing

became an important part of my life both for the dancing

and for the community it offered me.

You presided over the Bar and Bat Mitzvahs of 2 generations of my family

and honored me by giving your son a tallit I wove as he was ordained.

But most importantly, you helped me and my family

through the most difficult time of our lives when Mitch died.
