Tali Aronsky
Tali Aronsky is the active and beloved gabbait of the Ve’ani Tefilla congregation in Nachlaot, Jerusalem, where she works to foster a warm, inclusive ezrat nashim and immersive prayer and learning opportunities for the community at large.
Beyond her shul, and her work in Israel's hi-tech sector, Tali is widely recognized across Jerusalem for her commitment to authentic spirituality and the full participation of women in Orthodox life. She is a trusted advisor on complex personal matters including domestic abuse, agunot, chronic and mental illness, career transitions, and life changes. She has spoken publicly on these topics on podcasts and in community forums. During the COVID-19 lockdowns, her online presence became a lifeline for many, offering inspiration and deep Torah wisdom to those seeking connection and meaning in a time of isolation.
Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Tali is a graduate of the Yeshiva of Flatbush and earned her degree summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Pennsylvania. She has studied at Drisha and Hadar's advanced Talmud programs, and served as a learning community leader through Elul's program for people of different ages and backgrounds seeking greater access to the Jewish and Israeli canons.
