Raised in Tel Aviv, Israel, Sivan Leib-Jacobson holds a BA in International Relations, Communications, and Journalism and an MA in Communications and Journalism, both from Hebrew University. Her Master's dissertation was dedicated to the effects of technology on the Jewish Responsa Genre. She graduated from a two-year Morot L’halacKa program at Matan HaSharon.

Sivan is a marketing communications professional who worked for many years in the business sector before moving fulltime into the nonprofit sector. She is the Media and Resource Development Director for Sadnat Shiluv, a unique village that promotes the integration of people with special needs into the community. 

Sivan is married to Tzachi, with whom she raises her four children in Efrat, Israel.
