Shira - With as much good as you do (and your chesed never ends :)), your biggest joy is discretely helping people be their best selves and you are gifted at it.  How lucky is our community to have you enhance all of our lives!
Andrew - You are one of the most thoughtful, principled and kind people we know.  It was a unique privilege to see your character in action as you steadfastly served our community with the sole goals of making it strong, inclusive and beautiful!
Mira and Anton - Not only are you both brilliant at what you do but you infuse thoughtfulness and compassion into every action.  You are role models to us all not only in your approach to your work but in the way you raise your children ... they are remarkable people who so obviously share your incredible values.  

 

We are grateful for the opportunity to celebrate you and what you mean to us.

Dear YINR Community,

We are truly humbled and deeply honored to receive the Distinguished Service Award. This recognition holds a special place in our hearts and serves as a powerful motivator to continue giving our best to the Young Israel of New Rochelle community. Looking back on the past 15 years, we are filled with gratitude for the incredible support and guidance you have provided us. Your encouragement has allowed us to grow, learn, and give back in ways we never could have imagined. The trust and belief you have shown in us have been a constant source of inspiration, and it is because of you that we have been able to serve with such dedication and passion. It has been a privilege and an honor to raise our family within this warm and vibrant community. Watching our children grow up surrounded by such caring and supportive people has been one of the greatest gifts we could ask for. Helping to set up, celebrate, and contribute to the many holidays, events, and milestones has brought us immense joy and fulfillment. These experiences have not only enriched our lives but have also created lasting memories that we will always cherish. As we look to the future, we are excited about the many more years of connection, growth, and shared experiences that await us here. We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be part of this community, and we look forward to continuing to contribute in whatever way we can. Once again, thank you for this incredible honor. Your support has meant everything to us, and we are truly grateful to be part of the YINR family.

From the moment you moved in, you jumped into action on behalf of YINR and never stopped. You exemplify true leadership- no task is too small for you- or too large, and between you there is nothing in the shul that hasn't benefited from your selfless efforts. Most importantly, everything you do is infused with kindness, thoughtfulness and דרך ארץ. Thank you for all that you do, both in the open and behind the scenes. May you and your beautiful family always go מחיל אל חיל.

 

Mira and Anton,

You care for YINR as if it was your own home, keeping it in top shape physically while running everything that happens inside. Anton, you are a genius and an artist- you can figure out anything and you create beautiful work. Mira, you are the ultimate woman! You gracefully and expertly manage every single thing that happens in the shul, while at the same time raising four exceptional children. You are incredible role models for all of us. We are so grateful for your dedication to YINR and even more for your friendship.
