קָמוּ בָנֶיהָ, וַיְאַשְּׁרוּהָ; בַּעְלָהּ, וַיְהַלְלָהּ
This occasion coincides with 50 years of marriage to the most amazing woman. I have long been proud to be known as "Shifra Hanon's husband," a title from which I derive great happiness and honor. I continue to benefit from your example. We chose the Yeshivah of Flatbush to educate our children because it is a perfect blend of Ashkenazi and Sephardic traditions, Zionism, Jewish ideals, and stellar academics. We have fit in perfectly at the Yeshivah and we are fortunate to have become partners in the education of our children here. As a faculty member, you have always taken the most pride in the personal and professional development of your students and mentees. I have watched you at all hours of day and night, shepherding their education, families, and careers. Yet, somehow, you have balanced your Flatbush family with raising our own children and grandchildren. We are truly blessed.

We are humbled to dedicate Parashat Kedoshim
in honor of our parents
Rabbi Dr. Raymond and Vicky Harari.
The parashah contains the commandment
כבד את אביך ואת אמך
as well as highlights different ways to live a life of purity and holiness.
Our parents are exemplars of these
characteristics through their work in the
school and the community for the past forty years.
May they continue to be role models to us, our
children, and the community.

חֶסֶד וֶאֱמֶת אַל יַעַזְבֻךָ קָשְׁרֵם עַל גַּרְגְּרוֹתֶיךָ כָּתְבֵם עַל לוּחַ לִבֶּךָ
Let not kindness and truth forsake thee; bind them about thy neck, write them upon the table of thy heart (Mishle 3:3) "A teacher affects eternity; she can never tell where her influence stops."

Mom understands that teaching is the catalyst for enduring change. This is as true in the home as it is in the Yeshivah and the Community. Through the force of her spiritual and intellectual energy, we learned curiosity, a love of scholarship, and above all, gemilut chesed. These concepts have a lasting impact on everyone she has touched.

Dear Rabbi Raymond,
Our family's personal friendship spans many decades.
It is rare to know someone with such a humble, and deep sense of
belief, and dedication to Hashem.
From years back when the kids on the block were busy  playing
stick ball, you were learning your Bar Mitzvah Parashah, so you
could recite it for your dad A'H. That dedication and deep
understanding of religion has grown with you, to include your
wife Vicky and your children, and grandchildren, and not the
least, all of the children of Yeshivah of Flatbush, that have
grown to love and respect you.
