Our tribute this year will include a musical presentation by a leading figure in Jewish theater and Yiddish song, Zalmen Mlotek. Mlotek is an internationally recognized authority on Yiddish folk and theater music, and has been the Artistic Director and conductor at National Yiddish Theater Folksbiene for the past twenty years. His vision brought the critically acclaimed award-winning Fidler AfnDakh (Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish) to New York.
Be ready to move to the beat with a dynamic musical performance by our local lively duo of Josh Ehrlich and Leilah Rosen. Josh Ehrlich is a composer, music educator and cantorial student at the Jewish Theological Seminary. He music directs choirs, bands, and musical theater productions. Leilah Rosen is a dancer, singer, and educator who grew up in the Ansche Chesed community. They have been singing together, and delighting audiences with their wonderful renditions since first meeting in 2018.
