This year the CBJ Gala will honor our beloved Rabbi Ezray and his 27 years as our spiritual leader. Rabbi Nat has had a powerful impact on so many in our congregation; we are so fortunate to be able to honor him and thank him for all he has done for our community.
Over the last two years, we have had to re-imagine how we operate. Providing a safe and welcoming environment has been our number one priority, which is why we had to get creative when planning the 2022 CBJ Gala.
Join us for this special weekend:
- Friday, May 20 at 6:30 pm: An intimate Kabbalat Shabbat service after which we will gather to toast the Rabbi and enjoy a dessert buffet.
- Saturday, May 21 at 10:00 am: Our joyful Shabbat service will culminate in a festive kiddush lunch.
- Sunday, May 22 at 5:00 pm (Ticketed): The Gala Happy Hour festivities will round out the weekend with food, drink and music.
The Gala is our most important fundraiser of the year and the vast majority of fundraising dollars come from sponsorships which help to fund our incredible programs, from Religious School to Adult Education, and everything in between; it is instrumental in helping us meet our financial goals for the operating budget of the synagogue.
