About Cornerstone Montgomery:
Over 40 million Americans currently live with a mental health diagnosis – that’s one out of every five adults. Millions more have suffered from the ravages of substance abuse problems. Cornerstone Montgomery helps people and the families of those who are living with a mental health and substance use disorder. We work with people in acute crisis and those who have long term needs. Cornerstone Montgomery’s goal is to keep people out of the hospital and in their communities.
We work with clients and families to determine the most beneficial type of treatment – at home, in one of our supportive housing programs, or in our residential houses. Once a client has completed a course of rehabilitation, Cornerstone Montgomery provides continuing services to help integrate clients back in to the community. Our services help people fine and keep housing, train for new jobs, and lead independent lives. Our programs include:

About Cornerstone Montgomery’s Vocational Program:
Cornerstone Montgomery's Vocational Program helps more than 750 adults and transition aged youth who are recovering from mental illness find, get and keep employment and our employment rates are nearly three times higher than the national average. Our Transition Aged Youth program works with individuals between the ages of 16 and 25 who are transitioning from high school to the next phase of their life. We believe that employment brings meaning to many people’s lives. Being employed can be especially essential for someone recovering from mental illness: it creates a sense of self-worth, a way to be a part of a larger community, and the income needed to become independent. That’s why our team of employment specialists is dedicated to helping our clients to find jobs that they like and provide support that help them to keep these jobs. We love what we do, and we want to help our clients find something that they are passionate about too!
