FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
In 2026, the Eastchester Irish-American Social Club (EIASC) is recognizing its 60th Anniversary of service to local and business communities. Founded in 1966 and dedicated to its scholarship fund, promotion of Irish-American culture and support of charitable causes, the EIASC is best known for organizing and sponsoring the Annual Eastchester St. Patrick’s Day Parade—now in its 20th year—and to be held this year on Sun, Mar 15 at 3pm.
The Parade will be led by Grand Marshal Gary Byrne, Eastchester resident and General Manager, SpringHill Suites Marriott Hotel in Tuckahoe. Byrne said he will “lead the Parade with heart, optimism and an unwavering belief in the good of people.”
The Parade steps off at Immaculate Conception Church in Tuckahoe and its route travels to Main St then north on White Plains Rd to Lake Isle Park in Eastchester. Bag pipers, Irish dancers, local scout and youth sports groups, marching bands, elected officials, and fire and police organizations highlight the Line of March. The Green Line, painted along the Parade route a few days prior to announce the coming festivities, is sponsored this year by Jack’s Bar & Restaurant in Eastchester—the place for modern Irish cuisine and innovative beverages.
Grand Marshal Byrne will be joined by Parade Honoree Annmarie Mulhern-Flannery, a Registered Nurse and RN Case Manager at White Plains Hospital. They will receive their traditional Parade Sashes at the EIASC Sash Gala on Fri, Mar 6 at 7pm at Lake Isle Park. Gala information and tickets are available at eastchesterirish.org . To salute the Grand Marshal and Honoree, and help underwrite the Parade, contact [email protected] . A Parade Kickoff Social will be held on Fri, Mar 13 at Broken Bow in Tuckahoe at 7pm.
