Over the course of the COVID-19 pandemic, when the first set of lockdowns came into effect which effectively closed Synagogues and other Jewish establishments, I along with  others volunteered to patrol the community at various times of day and night to ensure these establishments were safe and secure, as they were vacant at the time. In addition I also protect my synagogue, Shomrei Shabbos Chèvre Mishnayos congregation with a number of other volunteers from the community. Throughout the course pandemic, I was able to recruit individuals from the community to enrol into the Protector Program.
