Sofia Freudenstein
I will be graduating from University of Toronto this spring, double-majoring in Jewish Studies and Philosophy, and finishing my first unit of Clinical Pastoral Education at Baycrest. I am a member of the Hillel International Student Cabinet, a Hillel U ofT Student Leader, and a fellow with the New Voices Resilient Writers Fellowship. I am also co-Rosh Women's Beit Midrash with Orly Aziza, in conjunction with JLIC and Beit Midrash Zichron Dov.
I began a unit of Clinical Pastoral Education at Baycrest as a way to help patients and residents be less lonely during this time.
I helped organize many virtual learning opportunities for women in the community, who maybe would not have had the chance to connect or access to certain teachers otherwise.
