Dr. Ari Greenwald is an Emergency Physician practicing at Hamilton Health Sciences and Mackenzie Health. He also serves as the medical director of Hatzoloh Toronto. Born and raised in Toronto (proud AHS and CHAT alumnus), Dr. Greenwald attributes the foundation of his Jewish community service and values to his parent role-models (Kenny and Reena Greenwald [Toronto]; Ricky and Pam Turetsky [Miami Beach]). His community efforts are made possible by the support of his family, together with the guidance of mentors/friends, and the many dedicated community volunteers with whom he is privileged to partner.

 

In addition to being an Emergency physician and his leadership role within Hatzoloh Toronto, Dr. Greenwald has also worked alongside many dedicated volunteers in supporting those impacted by the pandemic. He co-founded Kol HaCOVID - a network of Toronto Jewish community healthcare providers - which provides guidance and support for the Jewish community at large.  He also co-founded Frontline Connect Canada - a non-profit organization which has supplied hundreds of data-enabled devices to dozens of Health Care Facilities in an effort to keep patients and families virtually connected throughout the pandemic.
