Rabbi Mina Goldsmith
Beth Emeth
Rabbi Michelle L. Goldsmith was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada.  She received her BA in Hebrew Bible and Master of Hebrew Letters from the American Jewish University (formerly University of Judaism).  She then received an MA and Rabbinic Ordination from the Jewish Theological Seminary.

Her rabbinic career has taken her from Associate Rabbi at Beth Shalom Congregation in Jacksonville, Florida and Temple Beth Sholom in Sarasota, Florida to senior rabbi at Temple Beth-El in Birmingham, Alabama and Congregation Beth Emeth in Herndon, Virginia.  The COVID-19 pandemic led Rabbi Mina to move her family closer to her husband’s extended family in Florida, where she currently serves as the Senior Rabbi at Temple Beth Am in Margate, Florida.

At Beth Emeth, Rabbi Goldsmith supported Jewish education for all ages, bringing warmth and joy into her classes and services, and welcoming those who wish to explore Judaism.  She served on the George Mason University Hillel Board, participated in interfaith programs and was a big supporter Men’s Club programming.  She is sorry that she is unable to be with us for the Blue Yarmulke brunch, but appreciates the honor and sends her love to everyone.
