Josh Rosenstein
Beth El - Montgomery County
Josh and his family are active members of the Congregation Beth El community.  He and his wife Shayna Bloom have several times co-chaired the synagogue’s popular family camp weekend.  Josh served as president of the Beth El Men’s Club during the first two years of the pandemic, and he worked to ensure that the Club continued its vibrant activities virtually and in hybrid format.  During his time as president, the Men’s Club hosted a popular candidate forum featuring candidates running for Montgomery County Executive.  Prior to that, he was a three-time co-chair of the Beth El Purim Carnival.  Josh is a frequent volunteer for other Men’s Club and synagogue activities, including the World Wide Wrap, the popular Jews & Brews sessions, and the Yellow Candle Project.  His two children are active in the Beth El Religious School and youth groups, and his daughter sings in the Shir Atid choir.

Josh is a partner in the law firm of Sandler Reiff Lamb Rosenstein & Birkenstock, P.C., where he practices political law.  He advises clients on the best way to navigate the complex laws impacting the political industry, including lobbying and foreign agent regulation; campaign finance; election law; government ethics; pay-to-play; gift rules; contracts and commercial law; non-profit regulations; and general political law issues.
He currently serves as an Adjunct Professor of Law at William & Mary Law School, where he teaches a course on lobbying regulation.  He was awarded the William & Mary Election Law Educator of the Year Award.
