EXCITING VIRTUAL EXPERIENCES

Samara Kaufman-Waldman - Wine has been part of Samara’s life for more than 20 years. Helping people learn about and experience fine wine is Samara's passionate purpose. Her love for wine began when she was a bartender at the hotel at Kibbutz Ramat Rachel and got to work in their orchards and farms. This love for fine wines piqued her interest in winemaking and she obtained a degree in Viticulture and Oenology from Chico State University and UC Davis. Samara is a certified Sommelier and her passion is organic, bio-dynamic and sustainable wines. Since launching Cinagro Wine in 2016, she’s excited by every opportunity to create a fun, energetic, approachable tasting experience and share her love of wine with others.

Virtual Wine Tasting!!
Featuring Cinagro Wine Experience

YOU'RE IN!
Congratulations on joining us Thursday, May 27th at 8:00pm EST for a virtual Kosher wine tasting! We are going to learn about two incredible, award-winning wines and discuss how to taste wine like a Sommelier. It's going to be a fun event and I am so glad you'll be there!

Now, let's get you ready!!

Plan the perfect culinary experience to pair with your wines!!

The wines I have selected for your tasting event are approachable and delicious handcrafted wines, all Kosher and Organic.

I suggest you put together a small charcuterie platter to enjoy with elements that will pair with both of the wines. Below are my suggestions of optional elements for your charcuterie that will pair with each of the wines.

Roero Arneis DOCG, Pescaja, Piemonte, Italy:  A wine that winks by spreading notes of juicy ripe fruit: pineapple, peach, apricot and lightly toasted almond. On the palate it is soft, fresh and persistent with gorgeous crisp acidity. This is good juice decorated with delicate white flowers, a delight and such a treat! This beautiful wine will shine brilliantly paired with a herbed chevre goat cheese or Italian Ricotta drizzled with honey,  rosemary marcona almonds or mini vegetable samosas (Trader Joe's), If you're feeling fancy, you can make this Tarragon Salmon or Whipped Feta with Za'atar and Spiced Honey! I like to sub aleppo pepper for the crushed red pepper and only use a little pinch.

Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG, Terra di Seta, Tuscany, Italy:  Nestled among rolling Tuscan hills of such magnificent beauty as to literally take your breath away, the Terra di Seta winery is a hidden jewel crying out for discovery. Rich and voluptuous, the wine showcases perfect structure on gorgeous rustic tannins and plenty of fresh red fruit alongside oak, cedarwood, freshly rolled cigars, dark chocolate and a pleasing herbacousness that adds depth and sophistication.  The most quintessential food pairing for Chianti Classico is Bistecca Alla Fiorentiana. However, if you are looking to prepare some lighter dairy bites, an aged parmesan cheese would be perfect with this wine with an accompaniment of rosemary marcona almonds. Also, this Slow Roasted Mushroom Pasta with Rosemary Chickpeas is delicious if you're up to it!

Prep Your Wine!

Chill the Roero Arneis and remove it from the fridge/wine chiller just before we begin. The Chianti Classico can be served at room temperature. You can serve both of these wines in a traditional wine glass.

I can't wait to meet all of you, celebrate you and talk wine together!!!! Please don't hesitate to contact me at [email protected]  if you have any questions!
