Stacey and Jaime Ezratty were married in 1990 at the Sephardic Temple in Cedarhurst, and settled in East Rockaway in 1996, after living in NYC and Woodmere.  They have been HERJC members since 1996, and raised their three sons, Harrison, Ethan, and Lance, in East Rockaway. All three boys attended (and graduated!) from the HERJC Nursery School, under the direction, care, and love of Cheryl Karp, the HERJC Religious School, and all three received Bar Mitzvah training at HERJC.

Stacey grew up in Lido Beach, where her parents were the founding members of the Lido Beach Jewish Centre, with her father, Lenny, serving as the temple’s first president.  Stacey went to Brandeis Hebrew Day School in Lawrence, received her BA from Hofstra University, and then obtained an MBA from Hofstra University in Marketing. After receiving her Master’s degree, she joined her family’s glatt kosher poultry slaughterhouse business in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, until the business closed in 1997. She was active at the Waverly Park PTA when the boys attended that school.  Stacey has also operated an invitation/stationery business for the past 25 years, and currently serves on the HERJC Membership Committee. Stacey loves to cook and entertain, and has hosted both of the HERJC progressive dinners, as well as volunteering for many years at the Purim Carnival, selling baked goods.

Jaime graduated from Lawrence High School, Brandeis University, and the Fordham University School of Law, where he clerked for a Federal District Court judge.  Jaime lectures frequently regarding various areas of law, and has appeared in several newspaper articles and has had various decisions published in the NY Law Journal.   Jaime is a past President of the Brandeis University Alumni Association, Long Island Chapter.  Jaime is also active at the Nassau County Bar Association, where he has held numerous positions including past Dean of the Nassau Academy of Law (the Legal Education Branch of the Bar Association), the Chair of the District Court Committee (4 terms), the Chair of the Real Property Law Committee, and, currently, serving his third term on the Board of Directors of the Bar Association.  Through the Bar Association, Jaime has volunteered at the Access to Justice Program, and he has mentored students (at risk) at the Woodland Middle School in East Meadow. He is currently mentoring a fourth grade student at the Grand Avenue School in Baldwin.  Jaime is a partner at the law firm of Horing Welikson Rosen & Digrugilliers in Williston Park, and he specializes in Real Estate Law and Landlord Tenant Eviction Proceedings.  Jaime’s family has a long history of leadership at the Sephardic Temple in Cedarhurst, where his two great uncles served as Presidents, and his mother served as President of the Sisterhood until her passing in 2004.  At HERJC, he has volunteered at Purim Carnival, has served on the Board of Directors for three terms, and is the Co-Chair (with Joe Sklar) of the HERJC Cares Committee.

Stacey and Jaime are quite proud to be HERJC members, and to share this special evening with Keith Harrow and Jason Gang, whose dedication and service to HERJC have enriched the community for many years and will continue to do so for years to come.
