2026 Recognizing Excellence Annual Awards
 
Tonight, Hudson Milestones honors the recipients of our Recognizing Excellence Annual Awards. These awards provide an opportunity for Hudson Milestones to formally acknowledge many of the organizations and individuals who help the agency to continue to provide quality services to people with intellectual/developmental disabilities throughout Hudson County. The recipients of the awards were chosen from a large number of impressive nominees submitted in each award category. Final selections were made by Hudson Milestones' Board of Directors.
 
  • The Patricia O'Donnell Memorial Community Volunteer of the Year Award honors a Hudson County individual whose community involvement has helped Hudson Milestones accomplish its mission.  It is presented in memory of Board Director Emeritus, Patricia O'Donnell. This year's recipient is Peter Amadeo.
  • The Chandelier Charity Organization of the Year Award honors a community volunteer group that has actively supported the work of Hudson Milestones as well as the individuals within our program. This year's recipient is the Moose Lodge #266.
  • The Healthcare Advocate of the Year Award honors a healthcare professional with an exceptional record for having provided healthcare to people with intellectual/developmental disabilities. This year's recipient is Ericka Ribeiro, RN.
  • The Ann Vrola Memorial Citizenship Award honors an individual who has an intellectual/developmental disability, resides in Hudson County and has distinguished him/herself by contributing to and participating fully in the community. This year's recipient is John Hoehl.
