Randi & Boaz Sidikaro

Over the course of ten years, Randi has effortlessly served in countless roles with JCP. From answering the phone and unpacking boxes to serving as the president of the preschool parents association and in her current position as Vice President for Fundraising, no job has ever been too small for Randi, nor has she shied away from any challenge. Preceding her involvement with JCP, Randi earned a BA degree from the University of Hartford and held multiple event and sports marketing positions at iN DEMAND Networks and directed digital projects at AgencyNet, an award-winning interactive digital agency. Prior to having children, she worked to become a dog trainer.  When not devoting time to JCP, or being wife and mom to three, she enjoys hula hooping and rollerblading and is currently studying Hebrew.

Boaz, who sits on the JCP Capital Campaign cabinet, holds a BS in economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and is fluent in Hebrew. He is an executive managing director at OZ Management Group where he has worked in various investment roles since 1998.  He is also a member of the portfolio and risk committees, and has served on the boards of a number of private OZ portfolio companies. Previously, he worked in the mergers, acquisitions and restructuring department at Morgan Stanley.

The Sidikaro family--Randi and Boaz, together with children Mayer, Talia, and Zev--is a cornerstone of JCP. As a family, they model deep commitment to friends in every generation, and generously and repeatedly open their home to the JCP community. They are models of curious minds, new experiences, and thoughtful reflection and communication that help strengthen our community. In addition to their involvement with JCP and LREI, the Sidikaros are passionate about supporting Pencils of Promise and the NYU Langone Medical Center. They also enjoy the beach, snowboarding and making breakfast together on the weekends.

Susan Silverstein & Pamela Gross

For Pamela, Susan, and daughter Lea, their Shabbat dinner table is often the first place new families are welcomed into the JCP community and made to feel at home. Together (and often with a bottle of bourbon in hand!), the family is a mainstay at JCP events throughout each Jewish year and at milestones that have marked the flourishing of the community, from the founding of the preschool to the thriving Center for Jewish Life. Beyond our walls, they have fostered the warm relationship between JCP and Tribeca Synagogue and become boosters for the whole neighborhood.

A JCP leader and enthusiast for more than six years, Susan currently serves as JCP’s board chair, with a dedicated eye growing and strengthening the organization in areas from fundraising and real estate to relevant, resonant Jewish communal experiences. Susan served the community as board president for two terms and even led the staff transition team six years ago between executive directors. Prior to her work with JCP, Susan worked on Wall Street for 18 years, first as a U.S. equity research analyst and then as global director of equity research. When not volunteering for JCP, Susan finds joy in serving up knubbel (garlic) borscht, and word is that her cholent has a devoted following as well. Old friends have reflected on a singular and unique kind of joy and passion with which she has embraced her Jewish journey and supported those of family and friends.

Pamela, a lifelong New Yorker with a BA from Finch College and an MBA from NYU, has supported Susan’s devotion to JCP but also with commitments of her own: Serving first as a pre-school class parent and deepening through the years with stints on the Benefit committee, the Youth and the Hebrew School Vaad; and has volunteered for just about anything on an ‘as needed’ basis. She is also a Wall Street veteran, having worked at Drexel Burnham Lambert, Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette, and Banc of America Securities where she and Susan met. Her deep roots in philanthropy and volunteering are a natural outgrowth of her own family’s prioritizing ‘giving back’ as among their own core values.  The indelible daily memory of her own mother, Lea, glued to her 6-key writer transcribing print books into Braille for the blind, serves as an inspiration. Pamela is also passionate about Torah study, never hesitates to show up for a fellow community member, whether it’s a ten minute walk or a ten hour flight away; and is aways seeking out the defining cultural and small vendor specialists in and around the city.
