On behalf of the Norwegian Christian Home & Health Center, it gives me great pleasure to invite you to join us for a festive evening to benefit the mission of the Home.
On this night, we are pleased to honor three individuals who have etched an indelible mark on the Home and who have embodied its noteworthy history.
Assemblyman Peter Abbate Jr. will be honored with the Distinguished Service Award. For over 36 years he has represented the people of Dyker Heights, Bensonhurst and Borough Park advocating for senior citizens and is regarded as a steady presence when it comes to the needs of our state’s elderly. This has been a top priority for him. During the pandemic he distributed NYS hand sanitizer and masks to the Home making sure that we were protected and safe. He is highly regarded by his colleagues for his outstanding work and has received numerous awards for his service to the State, City, and community.
Dawn Musorofiti from Romeo Meats is our Business Partner Honoree. Romeo Meats is a women owed business with a rich history of service to the community. They have a client list of over 800 restaurants and retailers and has earned a place of prominence in Brooklyn and beyond. Dawn has built a long-standing relationship with the Home providing quality meats for our residents to enjoy for over 10 years.
Louis Iacobucci from Landscaping by Amorosi is our Community Service Honoree. He has been providing the landscaping and snow removal to the Home for over 24 years making sure the facility looks welcoming and is safe for everyone who visits during the winter months. He has kept our Home looking picture perfect and idyllic for our residents and staff. Louis is committed to the Home and is always willing to make donations to us for special occasions.
All three honorees have shown a heartfelt dedication to the well-being of the Home, its residents and staff and are mainstays of the Brooklyn community. Norwegian Christian Home is delighted to acknowledge these individuals for their contributions.
