Inspiring the Next Generation: A Fundraiser for the March of the Living
Date: Sunday, July 19, 2026
Time: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Location: Newton, MA (location will be shared with RSVP)
Every year, the New England Friends of the March of the Living (NEFMOTL) sends local teenagers on a transformative, life-altering two-week journey. Traveling during Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day) and Yom Ha’Atzmaut (Israel Independence Day), students spend a week in Poland exploring the history and lessons of the Holocaust, followed by a week in Israel celebrating Jewish resilience and statehood.
Because we believe this experience should be accessible to all, every single participant receives a financial scholarship. NEFMOTL also extends these scholarships to teens who participate on the Lappin Foundation’s summer trip to Poland.
We invite you to join us for an inspiring afternoon dedicated to raising the vital scholarship funds needed to subsidize our New England teen participants.
Featured Speakers
● Jared Firestone (Keynote Alum): An alumnus of the March of the Living and a member of the Israeli Olympic Bobsled Team. Jared will share his incredible story of how his time on the March fundamentally altered his life course, fueling his passion for Jewish pride and athletic excellence on the world stage.
● The Voices of 2026: Hear directly from our local teenagers who just returned from the 2026 trip this spring. They will share firsthand reflections on how walking through history changed their perspectives and shaped their identities.
