Harry S Feller Award: Susie Fishbein:
 
Susie Fishbein is a world-famous kosher cook and author. Her acclaimed Kosher by Design has sold over 500,000 copies worldwide. She has been named one of the 50 most influential Jews by The Forward. Featured by the NY Times and CNN, Susie has been featured on dozens of tv and radio shows.
 
In recognition of National Jewish Heritage Month, she was an honored guest at the White House. She annually leads culinary tours of Israel. Susie lives with her family in New Jersey.
 
 
 
 
 
Harry S Feller Award: Joyce Goldstein
 
Joyce, immediate Past Chair of the Board of JCC MetroWest, is a current Vice Chair of the JCC Association of North America. 30 years of involvement in organized Jewish life, locally and nationally, have given her a detailed working knowledge and a wide community perspective.
 
A past president of three local agencies, varied leadership positions in the Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest, and also works on the greater North American scene, Joyce believes the entire Jewish community is most robust when all components are strong, working in harmony with each other. Joyce, and husband Neil of 47 years, are the proud parents of Dara and Meryl.
 
 
 
Benjamin Bendit Family Award: Lawrence E. Pargot
 
Larry Pargot’s relationship with the JCC and NJY Camps began in childhood and continues through today. He spent thirty-six years as an educator/counselor in the Metuchen NJ Public schools and was President of the Westfield Adult School.
 
Larry was a member of the Board of the JCC of Scotch Plains and President of Congregation Beth Israel in Scotch Plains. Larry and his wife, Barbara have one son, Joel, an NJY Camps alumni, daughter-in-law Nancy and two loving grandchildren, Anna and Ben, both future NJY Campers.
 
 
 
 
The Honorable Herbert & Jacqueline Klein Award:
John and Susan Salsberg
 
A mainstay of NJY Camps since 1974, John has been the Food Manager for the entire NJY Camps agency, while Sue, an NJY Teen Camp alumnus and retired kindergarten teacher, is known as the "Nature Walk Lady". John and Sue are very committed to their community. John was citizen of the year for Boonton Township. Sue volunteers with the Rockaway Valley Garden Club and is chairperson of The Wildflower Trail committee at The Tourne. Both are members of Morristown Jewish Center. John and Sue have two children, Daniel and Stephanie, both of whom are NJY Camps alums and four grandchildren: Sasha and Levi, who are current campers and Ariela and Anya, who come on family weekends.
