Tova and Jeremy have lived in Highland Park since they got married in 2000, although Jeremy has been a mainstay in Highland Park since he was the NCSY advisor here! After attending Yeshiva University Sy Syms School of Business, Tova started her career as an accountant. After working for over 15 years in Accounting and Finance, Tova moved to Supply Chain Planning, where she is currently a Supply Chain Manager for New Products at Johnson & Johnson. After working at Macy’s and then Lids for over 20 years, Jeremy is building out his retail consulting business Anner consulting, along with being a professor of Business Communications at YU and a baseball coach at JEC, where he has had the pleasure of coaching several RPRY alumni.
The Rennas joined the RPRY family in 2007, when Miriam (RPRY ‘18) started Nursery (though it was called Pre-Nursery back then). She was joined a few years later by Netanel (RPRY ’21) and finally by Aliza, currently a 4th grader, (RPRY ’27) after we needed to get one more Morah Judy experience.
After Jeremy's term on the RPRY Board, it looked like so much fun that Tova decided to follow suit a few years later. Tova first got involved in 2013 as a member of the strategic planning committee focusing on finance, headed by George Blank. That led her to joining the Board, and taking on the role of VP of Finance and chair of the Finance committee. Tova served as President from 2018 through 2022, where she was instrumental in navigating RPRY through the challenges of a global pandemic, re-opening the school after the Covid induced shutdown, and a Head of School search resulting in the hiring of Rabbi Ribalt.
In addition to her tasks as President, Tova also served as class parent for each of her children and parade chaperone multiple times. She currently serves as a member of the strategic planning committee, finance committee and communications committee. She continues to serve on the Board of Governors as the Immediate Past President.
Jeremy has served on the Board of Governors, as a basketball coach, and restarted the RPRY Golf Tournament. Jeremy is also involved in other volunteer activities, including serving as President of Congregation Ahavas Achim from 2014-2018, and serving as a baseball coach for the Highland Park Owls
Tova and Jeremy enjoy traveling, both with and without their kids, and have recently enjoyed trips to Panama, and most recently, an amazing trip to Israel for Pesach with the family.
