It is a pleasure to work with Rev. David Aminia on a daily basis.  He is very dedicated to his duties and responsibilities at Temple Beth El.  Rev. Aminia is very patient, caring, kind, thoughtful, and very easy to work with. His soft spoken manner is one of the qualities we enjoy most.

We have been blessed to have Rev. David Aminia on our staff for 36 years.  In his soft-spoken way, he tutors students of all ages and gives them the skills and confidence to succeed.  He runs the daily minyanim on Zoom, where everyone feels like a big family, even though the participants may be scattered across the country.  He does so much for our synagogue and is such an integral part of Temple Beth El.  We are so lucky to have him!

David has been a colleague of mine for many years and I appreciate and respect him for many reasons. He is dedicated, dependable, trustworthy, reliable and a team player.

What I will always admire the most is his ability to work with students with special learning styles to prepare them to become a Bar or Bar Mitzvah. He accommodates diverse learning styles and offers children personalized support. He focuses on the students' feelings, adjusts the ceremony, and finds a way to give it a positive personal meaning.

Generations of TBE children know how much he cares about them and their Jewish souls.

In Judaism, we are taught to mimic God and David does this beautifully, doing God’s work in the world.  David is a true TZUR/ ROCK – solid, reliable, strong, and supportive.  In addition, his memory is astounding, and with his care, he makes sure everything is done properly at TBE.  His strength can be heard in his powerful voice which does not need artificial amplification.  I am grateful to work with such an exceptional person as David, a true mensch.

I have known Reverend Aminia since my late teens. I recall from that period his steady presence during shiva for both of my grandmothers, his gentle kindness and friendliness. Whenever I returned to Beth El, I knew I could expect him there to shake my hand and welcome me in.  I remember coming to morning minyan with my father many times, where I could always expect to be led in davening by Reverend Aminia. And now as my colleague, I am again inspired and calmed by his steady presence. I am grateful for his consistent efforts during thirty-six years at Temple Beth El. He is part of the foundation of our home here and embodies that middah (trait), Yesod/foundation,  by being present for us all in the foundational moments of our lives, helping to create a steady base we can count on and rest in. This is an enormous blessing to us all. May Reverend Aminia reap the blessing he has sown for all of us. Mazal tov!

"Reverend Aminia supports the TBE community in so many ways. He is always kind, supportive and thoughtful. Whether teaching bar and bat mitzvah students, encouraging congregants to expand their ritual skills, or quietly taking care of the myriad tasks which need attention, he is a wonderful, solid presence in our community. It is a pleasure to work with him. Kol HaKavod!"
