Paul Heller & Michael Nachmani, Founding Chairs of the WDS/WSD Golf & Tennis Outing
Paul Heller
For more than a decade, Paul Heller has been a driving force behind so much of what makes WDS special. As a longtime member of the Board of Trustees, Paul brought vision, warmth, and a deep sense of community. He helped launch our very first Golf & Tennis Outing - alongside Michael Doppelt and Linda Brainson - and, years later, helped reimagine it with Michael Nachmani into a beloved annual tradition and vital fundraiser. Paul has been especially instrumental in broadening the outing's reach, personally spearheading efforts to bring in new foursomes and engaging community members well beyond the immediate WDS circle. A Managing Partner at Caldwell Partners, Paul brings that same leadership and integrity to his professional life. Together with his wife Amy, Paul is the proud parent of Joseph (WDS '04) and Miriam, Jonathan (WDS '07) and Arielle, and Molly (WDS '11), and the delighted grandparent of Ruby (Ganon 4s), Benny (Ganon Tots), and Ryder.
Michael Nachmani
From the moment the Nachmanis joined WDS in 2006, Michael’s dedication has been unwavering. Whether serving as Board Chair or working behind the scenes to strengthen the school’s financial foundation, Michael leads with quiet strength and a deep commitment to Jewish education. It was his vision—born over a conversation with Paul Heller at the bar at Fenway Golf Club—to rebuild and reimagine the WDS Golf & Tennis Outing into a sustainable, inclusive, and financially successful fundraiser that has since become one of the school’s signature events. As Chief Operating Officer at Rubric Capital Management, he brings his sharp insight and calm leadership to every role he takes on. Michael and his wife Michelle are proud parents of Ethan (WDS ’17), Katie (WDS ’19), and Emily (WDS ’19), and continue to be pillars of the WDS community.
